What did you learn from this? Did you learn about the medium, style, technique? I learned how to better mold and manipulate clay and create a figure representing what i want to show.
How is this piece successful? I mean, it kind of looks like a penguin, so i suppose it is successful, but i'm not too great with clay and it is a challenge just getting it to smooth out properly. if you notice you can see a lot of random bumps and a surface that is jagged or bumpy, i worked on that in the next piece but i still have a ways to go.
What are some of the things you might consider changing if you were to do it again? Probably using different paint, not so sure what i was doing here but it was nice to experiment. Also getting help from curtis about how to mold this thing. He's a clay god and getting it smooth and looking accurate is a big hurdle to my success.
